The Designer Floor pictured above was created by applying ARDEX SD-T as a prelevel base and then attaching metal zinc strips to form the desired pattern. Integral colloidal dyes were added to SD-T to create four colors which were poured into the forms. A technique known as "black padding" was used to give the floor texture. The floor was then sealed and, as an added touch, "spritzed" with a silver dye/seal mixture giving the floor a speckled look.
